Message from the Head of Department

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Hasan Kalyoncu University.

Our Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering aims to train Electrical and Electronics Engineers who have a solid scientific foundation, who can think analytically and turn this thinking into practice, who are sensitive to the problems of society and produce solutions, and who have environmental and ethical awareness. Our students will be equipped with an education and training curriculum prepared according to the needs of our country and the world, and with the qualified academic staff of our department, so that they can compete at national and international levels. Since Gaziantep is one of the leading industrial cities of Türkiye, our students will have ample opportunities to readily put the theoretical knowledge they acquire into practice in Gaziantep’s industry. Our students will be able to complete their internships at industrial organizations in Gaziantep and, after graduation, will be able to find employment in these organizations.

After acquiring a solid foundation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering during their undergraduate education, our students will be able to pursue graduate studies in fields such as electrical power, electronics, control and automation, communications, medical electronics, electromagnetic fields and microwaves.

We invite our dear students to create and share knowledge with us in an environment where they can be successful, happy and at peace, both academically and socially.

With love and respect.
